Heating Instructions for our Groundnut Soup

Microwave

Remove lid and seal, place jar in microwave and cover loosely. Heat for 4-5 minutes. Let sit for 2 minutes and serve. Microwaves Vary: Please use these instructions as a guide only.


Stove Top

Empty Soup contents of the jar to a small sauce pan and warm soup over low heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Hi and thanks for the wonderful memories of living in Nigeria. We’ve had the Egunsi and Groundnut soups. Both were good and transported me back. deep flavors and a smokiness that I remember. Both also had a bit too much tomato for my memory and our preference. Would have liked a bit deeper peanut butter (and a little salt added — but that is personal) in the groundnut — loved the spice. The Ground Nut Soup was perfect. It reminded me of my years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Liberia. The packing was not OK. Some soups arrived 1/2 frozen. No Dry-Ice. Lid was not properly secured. Minimal tape around the lid came all undone!!! Please reply ...

This is sooooo good!!! l love how versatile it is. Sometimes, I have it as a soup and other times I add it to Rice, Pasta or Cous Cous. The fact that 1 serving is only 220KCAL is my icing on the cake. LOVE IT!!!!!!
